Tell couples about your experience and approach
I honed my craft shooting commercial campaigns for brands, but I absolutely fell in love with capturing intimate love stories between partners, between family and between friends. For me, wedding photography it is the art of telling the whole story of one of the most important days of your lives, so you can vividly relive it every time you see those images.

Everything you have planned for this day, from the location to the stationery, from the flowers to the music, every single details comes from a place of love and it shapes the flow of your story throughout the day. So my promise to you is that I will honour your emotions in my work, embracing the rawness and simplicity of the moments-in-between, while curating the beauty of the most expected moments of the day.

I approach every wedding and every couple’s journey with undivided attention and care. This is what allows me to capture images that speak closely to you for years to come. My shooting style is therefore very intentional and bespoke to your needs and personality. More than anything, I want you to feel comfortable throughout the day, enabling you to enjoy every moment and walking away inspired and with images your heart can’t ignore.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
First and foremost, I can say with a hand on my heart that the best wedding photographs are achieved when my couples are relaxed and having fun together. They stop worrying about "looking good", they stop trying to always look at the camera or asking me what to do or where to stand and they start enjoying the session. They trust me to guide them and direct them when needed, but most of the time they are simply themselves. That is when magic happens!

Second, be honest about your photography priorities and plan for them. We can do all the family portraits that you want, have sunset couple portraits or have coverage of both of you getting ready if we plan for it. Allowing enough time for your photography desires means no stress on the day. So if you are unsure about how many hours of coverage you'll need, ask me! I promise I will give you an honest answer. I also help all my couples with the photography timeline for their day, so we are all on the same page and to ensure we have allocated enough time to capture all those invaluable memories.

Finally, I looove a good mood board of inspiration for your couple portraits! It's so useful to understand the vibe you want for this part of your day and allows us to be creative. But please remember that your wedding is yours, not a copy of someone else's. My suggestion is not to have a strict list of shots to get, but a variety of shots for inspiration. We'll see what works and adapt them to your personalities to make sure they are natural and fun, but most importantly true to you as individuals and as a couple.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
My best friend says I'm an empath and I think so too! We all have different personalities and try my best to adapt my approach to make you feel most comfortable during our time together. My style is completely bespoke to my couples. As part of the process and planning leading to your big day we get the opportunity to get to know each other during our consultations and we work on and agree on a plan that works best for your day.
What are your artistic influences?
Stylistically, I choose simplicity over complexity and emotion over posing. I believe in the power of expressions, touch and movement when I capture my images, rather than static and stiff poses or the overuse of props. I love the clean, crisp work of José Villa or KT Merry, where the soft light, the pastel colours, the beautiful scene and the raw emotions are all masterfully captured while maintaining a sense of effortless perfection.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
Most recently one of my couple's post wedding portrait sessions. We had limited time during their wedding day to get couple portraits so the groom surprised his bride with an additional post wedding portrait session and it was incredibly fun. They wore their wedding attire, and she had beautiful hair and make up done, but there were no nerves and no expectations. It was all about their story: their favourite places and things to do in the city. We stayed in the same area, around 5 blocks radius from the coffee shop where they had their first date, and got some incredible portraits where their personalities and love shone in every frame, without the pressure of their guests and family waiting for them.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
Beautiful unscripted moments of joy between you and your partner, and the people closest to you!

For your portraits, whether it's getting ready or couple portraits I focus on the details and the emotions. It's about the anticipation of the day as much as it is about the interactions between just the two of you.

For the ceremony and reception it becomes more about the candids. Capturing your and your guest's reactions to your vows, to the speeches, your first kiss, your first dance and the party.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
You'll spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day, so I think the best thing you can do is have someone by your side that cares about you and your day as much as you do. Someone who will put as much love and effort in capturing your story as you have put into bringing it to life. Someone you like for both their work and their personality. If that's me, I'll be honoured to be a part of your day.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
I want my couples to enjoy their day, the happier and the more comfortable they are the better the pictures I can capture and the more smoothly the day goes.

Photography, particularly on your wedding day, should not be stressful, it should be about crafting memories for a life-time. But when you choose me as your photographer, you are choosing simplicity and calm.

For that to happen we build an honest relationship where get to know each other and I know and understand your priorities. We build those foundations together during our consultations, so I can make sure that on the day there are no surprises. This is the best of both worlds, because you get to enjoy your day to the fullest, and I can tell your story in the most beautiful and authentic way for you to re-live every time you see your images.
