Tell couples about your experience and approach
I'm all about a relaxed, low-stress experience. We discuss your plans in advance, agree the key photos you'd like so we're all set ahead of the day. On the day, we get through the groups as simply as possible, having a bit of fun as we go. Couple portraits are quick and straightforward - we're going to have a little walk for about 15-20 minutes, find some gorgeous backdrops and chill out for a bit. After that, it's all a documentary-based approach so nice and easy!
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Be yourselves, and try not to worry about the camera - makes for such wonderful natural memories!

If you're really nervous then a good option is an engagement shoot, so you can see what it's like to be in front of the camera well in advance of the big day.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
Both! If the conversation happens to involve me then I'm happy to chat, but if not, I'll just be in the background, capturing those amazing moments.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
There have been so many gorgeous days, so it's hard to choose! I think the most fun we ever had was for Flora and Callum, because we had a bit more time than usual, combined with a venue prepared to let us put their antique sofa out on the lawn. It made for some great groups and portraits - a bit quirky and different, plus the couple had some specific, fun ideas - like me, they both love Star Wars, so we had fun on May 4th!
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
I love the amazing, natural moments at weddings. I'm frequently glad of the camera in front of my face because many stories at speeches will make me cry! I love moments at prep when people get a bit emotional, or let their guard down a bit during a ceremony - it's a window into the soul, and it makes a beautiful story.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
I care deeply about my couples' days. Making sure you have the best day is absolutely key for me. With many years of experience, I know where to be and what to capture. I'm right there with you in the big moments. If you're crying, then probably, so am I :-)
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
I have no dietary requirements, and you win bonus points for a pudding :-D :-D
Which venues have you worked at?
Ashridge House, Bassmead Manor Barns, Barns at Hunsbury Hill, The Tithe Barn at Bedford, Woburn Safari Park, Normanton Church, Huntsmill Farm, Horwood House, Bourton Hall, Fawsley Hall, and many more!
What is your bucket list for amazing venues you’d love to work at?
