Ashleigh's profile info

I'm a wedding videographer who’s all about capturing the real, meaningful moments—without turning your day into a production. Over time, I’ve had the privilege of filming all kinds of love stories, and what I’ve learned is this: the most powerful moments are the ones that happen naturally. When you invite me into your wedding day, you’re not getting someone who’ll direct or interrupt. I work quietly in the background, tuning into the energy of the day and documenting it as it truly is—honest, emotional, and full of life. You can expect a calm, professional presence, someone who knows when to step in and when to disappear into the crowd. From the start, I make it a priority to get to know you both—what matters most to you, what kind of vibe you love, and any ideas you have for your film. Your input helps shape the final product, so it truly reflects your personalities, your style, and your vision for the day. After the day, you'll receive a full cinematic, documentary-style wedding film that tells the story of your day in a beautiful and authentic way. I’ll also deliver a short trailer—a sneak peek that captures the heart of it all—and a set of social media-ready reels perfect for sharing with friends and family. My goal is to create a film that not only reflects your day, but lets you relive it—every time you press play. If that sounds like what you're looking for, I’d love to connect and hear more about your plans.

Tell couples about your experience and approach
I love capturing weddings in a way that truly reflects each couple’s story. I focus on real moments, the laughter, the quiet glances, the energy of the day, and turn them into films that feel both natural and cinematic. My goal is to create a wedding film that doesn’t just show what happened, but makes you feel it every time you watch.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
I’m mostly a fly on the wall, capturing genuine moments as they happen, but I can have my chatty moments too when the vibe calls for it. My goal is to be unobtrusive while still making you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.
What are your artistic influences?
I get inspired by real-life moments, beautiful light, and films that tell a story you can feel. I love capturing laughter, little details, and the vibes that make each wedding unique, and turning them into something you’ll actually want to watch again and again.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
It’s hard to pick just one, but one of my favourites was a wedding down south last summer. The couple were full of fun and laughter, and the night ended with them jumping into the pool — the bride still in her wedding dress! Moments like that, full of joy and spontaneity, are exactly why I love what I do.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
I love capturing the moments that really tell your story — the laughter, the tears, the quiet glances, and all the little details that make your day uniquely yours. I want your wedding film to feel like a memory you can step back into anytime.
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
The most important thing to know is that I genuinely care about capturing your day in a way that feels natural and true to you. I’m relaxed, easy to get along with, and I’ll make sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera so your wedding film truly reflects the joy and love of your day.
Which venues have you worked at?
I’ve had the pleasure of filming at venues such as Dalton Old Pump House, Beamish Hall, Black Horse at Beamish, Lake Henry, Le Petite Châtue, Solberge Hotel, South Causey Inn, and many more. Every venue has its own charm, and I love capturing what makes each one special.
