Hello, My name is Sergei, and I am a videographer/photographer based in London. Before starting my videography journey my passion was portrait and street photography. And then in 2016 I was offered to film my friends wedding. Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?

I’m more of a “fly on the wall.” My goal is to let the day unfold naturally and capture authentic moments without interrupting or staging anything.  I adapt to the energy of the day, but I believe the best moments happen when people forget the camera is there.

What are your artistic influences?

Good movies, 80s music, books.

What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?

I have many favourite shots—every wedding is unique and beautiful. Each time, I meet new people, and it’s truly about them; the venue and weather just add a touch of colour. I could talk about weddings for hours—morning preparations, dresses, venues, meeting new people, father-of-the-bride speeches, first dances, and so much more. So… my favourite shot happens every time I film a wedding. 😊

What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?

I’m always looking to capture the genuine, emotional moments that truly tell the story of the couple’s day. I focus on natural, unscripted interactions that reflect who they really are. For me, it’s not just about documenting the day — it’s about creating something that feels honest, emotional, and timeless.
