When it comes to picking your winter wedding date the choice really is yours. There are no hard and fast rules, but there are some things to consider.
December is a busy month for most people. It may mean you need to plan out and send save the dates right away to secure your guest list. Secondly, December is quite often the high season for weddings, especially the week of Christmas and New Year’s Eve. This may mean you pay a premium and find availability for suppliers to be a little trickier.
January and February are generally quieter and may suit guests better. You may have more time to plan and organise when Christmas is out of the way. Plus it gives you and your guests something lovely to look forward to in the new year. These months are in the quieter season, which may mean more supplier choice and potentially some cost savings too.
A winter wedding is a great idea. There is nothing saying a wedding at any other time of the year will be better.
Weather is a factor to consider, but if you have an accessible, watertight venue there shouldn’t be an issue. Plus, always have a plan B! Guests are more likely to be together indoors, which may create a more cosy intimate atmosphere. You can go all-out with romantic lighting and warming treats too.
Plus there can be cost savings and more supplier availability in the wintertime.
That's a wrap! All the winter wedding ideas you will ever need to plan your cosy, seasonal and magical winter wedding. Hooray!
